Since 2009, I have built representations of modernity and the future as pictured by the Late Victorians and Edwardians. This is done using the discarded technology of today.  As I am attracted to the materials, textures, ”whiz-bangery” in the nostalgia for the past, to me, the whimsy of the Steam Punk aesthetic is a perfect antidote for our Materialistic times…
